Our guests are sure to enjoy the leisurely rivers of pristine water. Fishing, canoeing, evenings around the campfire, and getting close to nature in the beauty of the national park "Smolenskoe Poozerye" will make this a little adventure a time to remember for years to come. This exciting excursion provides plenty of adventure, and relaxation in beautiful natural setting.
Duration: 5 days/4 night

Route: Smolensk – Lake Baklanovskoye – the Brus River – the Polovjya River – the Kasplya River - Smolensk
Price: 180$ per person (including transfer, general excursion on the city, instructor services during the entire program, meals, camping outfit, guide-translator)
Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arriving in Smolensk we will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the Municipal Youth Trekking Center (ÑÞÒ). After breakfast we will enjoy a general excursion in the city of Smolensk enjoying the sites like the medieval fortress and Assumption Cathedral. After returning to the "ÑÞÒ", we will get acquainted with our guide and receive our camping gear (backpack, rug, sleeping-bag, tent, and life jacket).
Now we are set to depart from Smolensk on a minibus "Gazel" and set up our tents on the shore of Lake Baklanovskoje in National park "Smolenskoe Poozerye"). On this first afternoon we will practice canoeing on Lake Baklanovskoye. For a special treat in the evening we will relax in the Russian Sauna (Banya)!
Day 2
On the morning of the next day our adventure truely begins canoeing down the Brus River to the Cruteli village. Camping.
Day 3
Canoeing from the Cruteli village down the Brus River and the Polovjya River to the Holm village. Camping.
Day 4
Canoeing from the Holm village down the Polovjya River to the Covshiry village. Camping.
Day 5
Canoeing from the Covshiry village down the Polovjya River and the Kasplya River to the bridge on the highway Smolensk-Velizh. Here we depart for Smolensk on a minibus "Gazel"and will return to the Municipal Youth Trekking Center (ÑÞÒ). That evening we will have a dinner and a farewell campfire before returning you to the train station to send you on your way.
Staff: instructor of group participants.
Kitchen duties are shared between the members of the group.
Don’t forget to take with you:
- practical and comfortable clothes, footwear and hat according to the season;
- kitchen utensils for meals at campfire;
- mosquito repellent or insecticide;
- fishing gear and camera.
